Permalink spiritualinspiration: “For the vision is yet for an appointed time…though it tarries, wait for it” (Habakkuk 2:3, KJV). God has an appointed time to fulfill the visions, dreams, and desires in your heart. Just because it has taken a long time or because you’ve tried and failed doesn’t mean it’s not going to happen. Don’t give up on those dreams! Don’t be complacent about pursuing what God has placed in your heart. Our God is a faithful God. No matter how long it’s been, no matter how impossible things look, if you’ll stay in faith, your set time is coming. Remember, every dream that’s in your heart, every promise that has taken root, God put it there. Not only that, but He has every intention of bringing it to pass. Hold on to that vision today. Declare by faith, “My time is coming. God is working behind the scenes on my behalf. I will fulfill my destiny!” As you continue to hold on to that vision and speak life over your dreams, it won’t be long before you see them begin to take shape. You’ll see your faith grow, you’ll see your hope strengthen, and you’ll see yourself step into the destiny God has prepared for you! A Prayer for Today Father in heaven, I receive Your Word which is life and health to me today. I ask that You ignite my heart with Your holy fire so that I can pursue Your perfect plan for my life. Make my thoughts and words agreeable to Your will. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Permalink spiritualinspiration: “But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His Kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides” (Matthew 6:33 AMP). What are you aiming at and striving for in life today? Are you seeking first His Kingdom? The Bible says that His Kingdom is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. When you seek righteousness, which is God’s way of doing things, you are seeking the Kingdom. When you seek peace, both in your heart and in your relationships with others, you are seeking the Kingdom. When you choose joy and invite the Holy Spirit to direct your steps, you are seeking the Kingdom. And just as this verse says, when you make God’s Kingdom a priority, all things will be given to you. What are all things? That’s everything else. That’s provision. That’s health. That’s strength. That’s direction. If you’ve been putting other things first, make the decision right now to change and seek God’s way. Put His Kingdom first. As you do, you’ll begin to experience fulfillment and peace in every area of your life!
Permalink spiritualinspiration: ” Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things” (Philippians 4:8, NIV). God wants you to be blessed in every area of your life. The Bible says that Jesus came so that you and I could have life more abundantly, but it all starts in your thinking. That’s why the scripture tells us very clearly what we should be thinking about—things that are noble, right, lovely, pure and praiseworthy. In other words, when a thought comes to your mind that you’re never going to be successful, replace it by saying, “Father, You said in Proverbs that if I would put You first, You would crown my efforts with success. You said in the Psalms that You surround me with favor like a shield. You said in Deuteronomy that Your blessings would chase me down and overtake me!” That’s how you take every thought captive, one thought at a time! Today, refuse to allow any negative thoughts to take up space in your mind. Stay on the offensive and choose to think on the right things. Fill your heart and mind with the Word of God and open the door for His hand of blessing in every area of your life!
